Paysley now supports Tap to Pay on iPhone, allowing you to accept contactless payments directly on your iPhone—no additional hardware required. Customers can pay using contactless credit or debit cards, Apple Pay, or other digital wallets, simply by tapping their card or device against your iPhone.
How It Works
Tap to Pay on iPhone uses NFC (Near Field Communication) technology built into your iPhone. When a customer taps their card or device on your iPhone, the Paysley app processes the payment securely and quickly—just like a traditional card reader.
Supported Devices: Tap to Pay requires an iPhone XS or newer running iOS 16.4 or later.
How to Activate Tap to Pay
You can activate Tap to Pay in two ways:
1. During App Installation or Update
- When installing the latest version of the Paysley app—or after updating—you’ll see a welcome screen.
- Tap “Tutorial” on this screen.
- Then tap “Activate Tap to Pay”.
- Follow the prompts to accept Apple’s Terms and Conditions for Tap to Pay.
- Once completed, Tap to Pay will be ready to use on your iPhone.
2. From the App Settings
- Open the Paysley app.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Payment Control.
- Toggle “Tap to Pay” to the ON position.
- You’ll be prompted to accept Apple’s Terms and Conditions.
- After accepting, Tap to Pay will be activated and ready for use.
Once activated, you can begin accepting contactless payments instantly from your iPhone—perfect for mobile businesses, on-the-go transactions, or in-store checkouts without extra hardware.
